Welcome to Sa Trobada, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque streets of Palma, Illes Balears. Located at Carrer dels Paraires, 21, this cozy restaurant perfectly embodies the essence of tapas culture. With a charming, unassuming façade, Sa Trobada invites you to step inside and discover a delightful array of flavors that the city has to offer.
Guests often rave about the generous portions and reasonable prices. One delighted customer, Neil Staniforth, noted that his experience, which included three plates, a glass of wine, a beer, and water—totaling just 35 euros—represented exceptional value for a city setting. The affordability paired with quality is a hallmark of Sa Trobada, making it a must-visit for local residents and tourists alike.
Seafood lovers will find particular delight here. Nadhirah M. shared her enthusiasm for the restaurant’s seafood tapas, specifically praising the perfectly cooked squid that “almost melts in your mouth.” Freshness and skillful preparation are evident in every dish, ensuring that each bite is a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to quality ingredients.
While enjoying a friendly atmosphere, you can also indulge in Sa Trobada’s famous spicy fries, described by Mohamed Hassaan as “amazing with the sauce.” However, his experience with the mixed fried dish suggested that some items may require a discerning palate. Customer feedback emphasizes a warm and welcoming staff, which enhances the dining experience and keeps diners returning for more. A casual and informal vibe allows you to unwind and savor both classic and innovative tapas in the heart of Palma.
Recommendations abound for the must-try dishes, such as the delectable eggs with ham and the delightful bread served with mayo aioli and olives, which Alex Antoniou found irresistible. The assurance of clear communication in English also makes this intimate space accessible to a diverse audience. While the seating is indoors, the ambiance provides a comfortable setting for a relaxed meal.
In conclusion, Sa Trobada stands out as a highlight in Palma's vibrant culinary scene. With its enticing offerings of tapas, commitment to freshness, and hospitable atmosphere, it's a place where every meal can turn into a joyous culinary gathering. So, whether you are a local or a visitor, this charming eatery is a worthwhile stop to enjoy traditional Spanish dining at its finest!

Good place to have some tapas. Nice and friendly staff :) Fair prices. the spicy fries were amazing with the sauce "not very spicy" And mixed fried was not that good as it was too oily. No place to sit out side so it's only inside done in. Overall nice place.

Nice little tapas place in an alleyway in Palma. The food was great, big portions, fair price, nice staff. Recommend the eggs with ham and the bread with mayo aioli and olives. No problems communicating in English.

A not too big, but nice place in the city centre. We had a few tapas, which were very good! Would go there once again!
